Savory Pistachio-Crusted Brie Bites for Entertaining

Pistachio-Crusted Brie Bites made approachable with clear cues, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 wheel of brie cheese 8 oz
  • 1 cup shelled pistachios finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry thawed
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme optional, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Cut the pastry into squares large enough to wrap each brie piece.
  4. Place a slice of brie in the center of each pastry square.
  5. Drizzle honey over each piece of brie.
  6. Sprinkle chopped pistachios generously over the brie and honey.
  7. Fold the pastry corners up and over the brie, sealing it well, and brush with beaten egg.
  8. Place the bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the pastry is golden brown.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
