Savory Chicken Cordon Bleu Meatloaf Recipe

Succulent Chicken Cordon Bleu Meatloaf combines savory ham and gooey cheese in a comforting blend, ideal for family dinners or special gatherings.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 6 slices deli ham
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, milk, chopped parsley, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
  3. Add Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce to the mixture, stirring gently to combine.
  4. Shape half of the meat mixture into a rectangular loaf on a baking sheet.
  5. Layer the ham slices evenly over the shaped meatloaf, then sprinkle shredded Swiss cheese on top of the ham.
  6. Top with the remaining meat mixture, sealing the edges.
  7. Transfer the loaf to the preheated oven and bake for 45-55 minutes, or until cooked through.
  8. Remove from oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
