Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs beef flank steak
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 bell pepper sliced
  • 1/2 onion sliced
  • 2 green onions chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Prepare the beef by slicing it against the grain.
  2. Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
  3. Place the sliced beef in the slow cooker and pour the sauce over it.
  4. Add sliced bell pepper and onion to the slow cooker.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Once cooked, stir the mixture gently and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
