Nourishing Pumpkin Truffles for a Wholesome Treat

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp pumpkin spice
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, almond flour, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and pumpkin spice.
  3. Fold in the dark chocolate chips and nuts if using.
  4. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture and roll them into balls.
  5. Place the truffles on a lined baking sheet and refrigerate for at least two hours.
  6. Enjoy or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
