Baked Brie with Cranberry Sauce made approachable with clear cues, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 whole Brie cheese about 8 ounces
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 1 egg beaten
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Place the Brie on the center of the rolled puff pastry.
  4. Spread the cranberry sauce generously over the Brie.
  5. Fold the pastry over the Brie, sealing well.
  6. Brush the pastry with the beaten egg.
  7. Place the wrapped Brie on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let the baked Brie cool for a few minutes before serving.
  10. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
