Method
- Prepare the marinade in a large bowl.
- Season the turkey inside and out with salt and pepper.
- Place the turkey in a large resealable bag or container.
- Pour the marinade over the turkey and seal.
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Remove the turkey from the marinade and pat dry.
- Roast the turkey for approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.
- Let the turkey rest before carving, about 20-30 minutes.
- Carve and serve the turkey.
