Delicious Chilli Garlic Prawn Pasta at Home

Chilli Garlic Prawn Pasta made approachable with clear cues, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients
  

  • 200 g linguine
  • 300 g raw prawns peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 red chillies thinly sliced
  • 50 ml olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Cook the linguine in salted boiling water until al dente.
  2. Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sliced chillies to the oil.
  4. Add the prawns to the skillet, cooking until they turn pink.
  5. Once the linguine is cooked, reserve some pasta water and drain the rest.
  6. Toss the drained linguine into the skillet with the prawn mixture.
  7. If the pasta seems dry, add reserved pasta water as needed.
  8. Finish with lemon juice and chopped parsley before serving.
