Method
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the apple filling.
- Roll out the first pie crust and place it in the baking pan.
- Fill the crust with the apple mixture.
- Roll out the second pie crust and place it over the filling.
- Cut several slits in the top crust.
- Brush the top crust with the beaten egg.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let the pie cool before slicing.
