Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and softened butter.
  3. Add the egg yolk and mix until the dough forms.
  4. Press the dough into a tart pan and prick the bottom with a fork.
  5. Bake the crust for about 15 minutes until lightly golden.
  6. While the crust cools, prepare the filling by melting the white chocolate and heavy cream together.
  7. Stir in the vanilla extract once the chocolate is melted.
  8. Fold in the fresh cranberries gently.
  9. Pour the filling into the cooled crust and smooth the top.
  10. Bake the tart for 20-25 minutes until set.
  11. Allow the tart to cool completely before serving.
  12. Dust with powdered sugar just before serving.
