Ingredients
  

  • 1 9- inch pie crust pre-baked
  • 1 cup pecans chopped and toasted
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the pie crust according to package instructions and pre-bake it.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, eggs, cornstarch, and salt.
  4. Add the chopped and toasted pecans to the filling mixture and stir gently.
  5. Carefully pour the filling into the pre-baked pie crust.
  6. Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, until the filling is set.
  7. Once done, remove the pie from the oven and let it cool to room temperature.
  8. Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
