Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs Polish sausage sliced
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 2 cups sauerkraut drained
  • 4 medium potatoes peeled and diced
  • 1 tsp caraway seeds
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Layer the diced potatoes at the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Add the sliced Polish sausage and diced onion on top of the potatoes.
  3. Pour the drained sauerkraut over the sausage and onions.
  4. Sprinkle caraway seeds over the sauerkraut.
  5. Pour chicken broth over all the ingredients.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  8. Once done, stir gently before serving.
